According to the police report, D’Agostini accused Clay of throwing her on the kitchen counter, dragging her down the stairs and then through some bushes outside, and choking her.

Gina says he brought her back into the house and “began punching and throwing her around the residence.”

When police arrived at the scene, they noticed she had several abrasions and was bleeding from her right leg.

Clay had left the scene before police arrived, but they found him soon after in an alley nearby and arrested him.

Back on November 30, Clay tweeted simply: “So Demarco Murray was having an affair with my wife ..I’m done.”

That tweet has since been deleted.

Clay and Murray, now a star running back for the Dallas Cowboys, were teammates for a season at Oklahoma.

Clay said he had text messages and graphic cell phone photos he believed the two had sent each other.

After claiming he had more than 50 incriminating texts to prove his wife and Murray were involved, Clay took to Twitter again. This time to apologize.

He tweeted on December 23:

Jumped to a conclusion that wasn’t true ..can’t judge a situation without knowing all the facts ..I apologize ..

Clay gave no reason why he changed his course on the situation.

Almost immediately after accusing his wife and Murray of the affair, Clay said he was filing for divorce.

Clay and D’Agostini had only been married 4 months.

Back in early December, Clay said he was meeting with lawyers to figure out how to proceed.

It’s unclear if Clay has filed for divorce, but they were not living together when he was arrested for the alleged assault.
