We know Patriots head coach Bill Belichick can come off as grumpy on the field. But off it, the guy has a pretty good sense of humor.

Letterman is an Indianapolis native and a Colts fan, so he likely had some interest in Deflategate.
Belichick and his Patriots pasted Letterman’s Colts 45-7 in the AFC Championship Game, 2 weeks before winning the Super Bowl 28-24 over Seattle.
Belichick definitely had more fun discussing Deflategate with Letterman than he did with reporters at the Super Bowl.
