Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Liverpool will face one another in the FA Cup semifinals at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The FA Cup first began in 1871 and is the oldest soccer competition on the planet.

Liverpool is searching for its first trophy since winning the League Cup in 2012, while Aston Villa last lifted a trophy in 2008 in the now-defunct Intertoto Cup

Both teams have had relatively easy draws to this point. Aston Villa have defeated Blackpool, Bournemouth, Leicester and West Brom (all at home) to reach the final four while Liverpool took down AFC Wimbledon, Bolton, Crystal Palace and Blackburn. Aston Villa won at Anfield in September and Liverpool returned the favor at Villa Park in January.
