Todd isn’t the only athlete in this relationship. Jacquelyn was actually a standout in her own right, competing on the Rutgers gymnastics team when both she and Todd were going to the school.

Although she missed most of her freshman season with injuries, Jacquelyn bounced back as a sophomore and was named the Most Improved Gymnast in 2006, appearing for the Scarlet Knights on the beam. A dominant student as well, Jacquelyn was named to the EAGL All-Academic Team every season until she graduated in 2008.

Jacquelyn isn’t the only gymnast in the family either. Her sister, Danielle Verdon, was also on the Rutgers squad and graduated in 2014.

2. She & Todd Got Engaged in November 2011

The couple, who started dating while they were both student-athletes at Rutgers, got engaged on November 18, 2011, and the proposal, which Todd had planned long in advance, is the stuff of romance legend.

Jacquelyn described the moment on the couple’s wedding website:

“Todd and I were invited to go on a cruise in mid November. It was a wonderful vacation that ended with a magical proposal. We were leaving Mexico and Todd had asked me to take a walk before our last dinner. He brought me to the back of the ship – No one was there and we just had the beautiful scenery of Mexico in the background and he popped the question. It was such a beautiful moment for the both of us, an d were excited that there was a photographer right outside the place we were dining so that we could capture the moment forever.”

3. The Pair Have Been Married Since 2012

Jacquelyn and Todd officially tied the knot on December 14, 2012, at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, in Todd’s hometown. The ensuing reception was held at The Grand Marquis.

Several MLB personalities attended the ceremony, including Todd’s Reds teammate Brandon Phillips and MLB Network’s Harold Reynolds. After they were officially husband and wife, the two set out to build a life together, including a literal building; their own home.

The two currently live in Tom’s River, New Jersey.

The Frazier family got a little bit bigger in 2014 when Jacquelyn gave birth the couple’s first child, a son named Blake. The littlest Frazier quickly became an internet sensation and was a frequent part of the crowd when Todd was playing at home in Cincinnati. In fact, Todd’s home runs were affectionately referred to as #BlakeBlasts by Reds fans when he played in Ohio.

Blake has also helped his dad up his batting average. In 2014, just a few months after Blake was born, Todd was leading all NL third basemen in home runs and fans even started to suggest that the Frazier’s should start having more kids. Todd responded in kind, telling MLB.com:

“If that was the case I would have 45 babies then, at least. So that would be pretty cool. But I don’t think my wife would be able to handle that. We’ll take it slow now and we’ll start working [on it] in a couple more years, hopefully.”

The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Kylie Kimberly, in December 2015.

In fact, Frazier frequently runs contests for products on Twitter and has even recruited future consultants on social media:
