Remember Lindsey Duke?
Of course you do. Even this season, a full year after her and Jaguars QB Blake Bortles called it quits, opposing teams are still talking trash about her. And yet, aside from a few Instagram posts, does anyone know what Duke’s been up to?
We’ve come a long way since 2013, when Bortles was just a UCF prospect with a rising draft stock. That’s when we came into contact with Duke, who UCF head coach George O’Leary said, “deserves six million Googles” when asked about her rising fame.
Her fame carried into Bortles’ draft preparations, which he didn’t care for too much. On the Dan Patrick Show, Bortles revealed that during his pre-draft interviews, teams had numerous questions about the whereabouts of his high school sweetheart.
Once Bortles was drafted by the Jaguars, things started to change. There were no more photos on Duke’s Instagram of her and Bortles together, and in November 2014, while the Jaguars were sinking, it was reported that Duke and Bortles had split.
Where’s Duke now?
Wherever the hell she wants to be. Duke blows up the internet whenever she posts a new picture to her Instagram, which has been set to private but still has north of 80,000 followers. Her Twitter, which is not private, features retweets of friends but very little content from Duke herself.
You go, Lindsey Duke.
