The title race is heating up, and it looks like it’s going to be crowded at the top heading into the final third of the season. Arsenal’s loss to Chelsea keeps the distance between the Gunners at Leicester City, who have slowly morphed from hopefuls into contenders.

Leicester are still amazingly at the top, easily dispatching Stoke at the KP on Saturday. They haven’t lost since September, but have a real test this week against Liverpool. The Reds played to another crazy finish on Saturday, securing a 5-4 victory over Norwich in the wildest game so far in 2016.

After the Foxes are Arsenal and Manchester City, one of whom are getting a major player back into the lineup. The return of Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal could give them the edge, as Manchester City will face fatigue in the coming weeks. City are still alive in four competitions, but the same can’t be said for Arsenal. They have the pleasure of meeting Barcelona in the Champions League knockout round, so it’s likely Arsenal will be closer to narrowing their focus solely on the title.

Working their way to the top are Tottenham, who are now only five points behind Leicester. Spurs were beaten by Leicester 1-0 a few weeks ago, but otherwise have won five of their previous seven matches.
