Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has said he is leaving Bayern Munich and Bundesliga and would like to manage in England.
Guardiola, 44, recently announced he would not extend his contract in Germany when it expires at the end of this season. He has been linked with Premier League clubs Manchester City and Manchester United, among others.
Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had suggested Guardiola already knew which club he would be joining next season, but the precise destination seems to largely remain a mystery to the public.
Guardiola managed four seasons for Barcelona prior to joining Bayern. He won 14 trophies in those four years, including three La Liga titles and two Champions League titles during his prodigious run. He took a year break before joining Bayern in June of 2013, and since, Bayern has won two league titles in his first two full seasons. (Getty)
