NCAA Basketball Rankings: Heavy’s Top 30 for February 22

Well, that was a week, wasn't it?

Multi-game win streaks were snapped, rivalry games were played and teams notched their first league victories against nationally ranked squads. It made ranking all these college hoops teams a bit of a challenge this week. But, of course, that just makes it more fun. Right? Absolutely.

We've got some serious movement in the latest round of Heavy's Top 30 squads, particularly after Maryland lost at Minnesota and Iowa fell to Penn State. There is, however, some consistency, particularly at the top of the metaphorical mountain with Villanova and Kansas holding on to their respective top spots. We're on board with the Wildcats (and Josh Hart, especially) right now, but even we've got to admit that Kansas is nipping at 'Nova's collective heels.

As an added bonus, the middle of the road is getting interesting. Arizona is making some big, possibly controversial moves, while Louisville, Baylor and Indiana are all settling into a bit of a rhythm.

It's been another crazy week on the hardwood, but, this season, that just means it's been another week of college basketball. Click through the gallery to check out our latest Top 30. (Getty)
