And then there were eight. The 2016 NCAA Tournament began as a whirlwind of upsets and unpredictability, but the madness has been slightly tamed over the second weekend, and the Elite 8 features many of the teams expected to be there: Kansas, Villanova, Oregon, Oklahoma, Virgina, Syracuse, Notre Dame and North Carolina. That's all four No. 1 seeds and five of the Top 11 teams from the AP preseason poll. Only two of DraftExpress' projected 2016 first-round picks are still playing (Buddy Hield, Demetrius Jackson), but there is no shortage of talent in the quartet of compelling regional finals. And really, we couldn't have asked for much better matchups. Oregon vs. Oklahoma sits as a pick 'em, Villanova vs. Kansas features the two hottest teams in the country, Virginia vs. Syracuse pits the disciplined Cavaliers against a chaotic zone and North Carolina vs. Notre Dame is the rubber match after they split two meetings earlier this season.
