Klay Thompson began slowly in the 2016 NBA Finals, scoring just 9, 17 and 10 points in Games 1, 2 and 3, respectively.

It wasn’t much of a big deal, as the Golden State Warriors held a 2-1 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Thompson’s scoring has certainly picked up — he’s averaging 29 points per game over the past 3.

But Thompson struggled from the floor in Game 7, hitting just 2 of 10 3-pointers and finishing with 14 points.

Cleveland down Golden State 93-90 to win its first-ever NBA title.

Thompson came into Game 7 with 96 3-pointers made during the postseason, most of any player.
