When Did Muhammad Ali Convert to Islam?

In 1975, Ali left the NOI and converted to the more mainstream Sunni Islam. 30 years later in 2005, Ali began began adhering to Sufism.

Geez, I thought after he died, he’d stop being used in the Islam debate by hacks and ghost writers using his name. And why is a man whose only fame is beating up other men a good example? That almost proves the stereotype! Same with Kareem, useless people. All they can do is punch or throw balls around.

Why did Mohammed Ali convert to islam? Coz he took too many blows to the head that faulted his brain into jointing islam lol ! And seriously who cares if he converted to islam, Christianity or even Shinto?
