The Browns will proceed with Josh McCown as their quarterback when they host the Ravens on Sunday. Opening week starter Robert Griffin III finished the teams 29-10 loss to Philadelphia, but was placed on injured reserve earlier this week with a fractured left shoulder. It’s a brutal start to the season for the Browns, as McCown went 1-7 as a starter last season and RG3 isn’t expected to return until at least November.
That’s alright with Baltimore, who opened their season with a gritty 13-7 win over the Bills. Joe Flacco returned from a knee injury, the Ravens played solid defense, and Mike Wallace had a long TD in his Ravens debut to earn the victory.
Baltimore is looking to rebound from their first losing season under John Harbaugh in 2015, and that means winning games like these. The Ravens have won their last two trips to Cleveland, and the Browns have defeated the Ravens just once at home since 2011.
