College Football Playoff Rankings 2016 Predictions Week 10

The College Football Playoff committee will unveil their first 2016 rankings Tuesday, November 1 at 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN. According to the College Football Playoff, the committee looks at four key factors when determining the rankings. The factors include conference championships, strength of schedule, head-to-head competition and comparative outcomes of common opponents. Last season, the term "body of work" was used a lot when discussing how the committee evaluated teams. Things like wins against good opponents and a team's non-conference schedule are also brought into the discussion. Heading into tonight's rankings there are four teams that are commonly thought to be the top teams. In no particular order, Alabama, Washington, Clemson and Michigan are viewed as the class of college football so far this season. They are all undefeated and the best teams in their respective conferences. Heavy has looked at all the top teams resumes and put together a breakdown of what we expect the rankings to be tonight.
