Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Invited Roger Goodell to Foxborough
Patriots owner Robert Kraft has been critical of Roger Goodell since the Deflategate punishment. Kraft has admitted that it has hurt the previously close relationship he had with Goodell. Despite the tension, Kraft told USA Today that Goodell is welcome back in Foxborough. “A lot of our fans have asked me about Roger coming back to our stadium. If we win Sunday, I think people would like to see him in Foxborough. If we win on Sunday, I’m inviting him formally to come to our opener next season.” Kraft told the USA Today. A Patriots win over the Falcons would create an ironic scene for Patriots fans of Goodell handing the Lombradi Trophy to Tom Brady who he suspended for the first four games of the season.
