Goldberg will be facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday. Goldberg has already dominated Brock Lesnar twice, though it remains unclear whether he’ll be able to take out The Beast Incarnate this time around. So what is Goldberg’s win-loss record? How often does he win in the ring?
According to Cagematch, the Internet wrestling database, Goldberg has won 86 percent of the matches that he has been involved in.
The year that Goldberg was the most active in the WWE was in 1998, when he performed in 143 matches total and won 134 of them. That means he won 93.7 percent of the time. In 2003, he won 84.1 percent of the time, and in 1998, he won 93.7 percent of the time.
This is a higher win-loss record than that of Goldberg’s opponent, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has won 71.9 percent of the matches that he has been involved in.
At WrestleMania specifically, Brock Lesnar has won 50 percent of the matches he has been placed in. He has had six WrestleMania matches, and he won three of those, defeating Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 19, The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30, and Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 32. However, he lost to Goldberg at WrestleMania 20, Triple H at WrestleMania 29, and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 31 (though Rollins pinned Roman Reigns, not Brock Lesnar).
Since Goldberg returned in 2016, he has won every one of his singles matches, only losing in the Royal Rumble match.
