In one of the craziest Monday Night Raw moments in recent memory, Braun Strowman tonight brutally attacked Roman Reigns for five straight minutes, with this escalating into Strowman tipping over an ambulance that Roman was inside of.

The segment started off fairly tame, with Michael Cole interviewing Roman Reigns about his WrestleMania match against The Undertaker. But not long into the interview, Braun Strowman suddenly started attacking Roman Reigns, throwing him against the wall and through a table.

About a minute into this fight, the two were separated, and it seemed like that was the end of it. But instead, Strowman quickly resumed his attack, and this lasted another 60 seconds or so.

Paramedics were then called in, and Roman Reigns was strapped to a stretcher. Just when the viewer expected the show to cut back to the ring for a new part of the show, though, Strowman returned and pushed Roman Reigns’ stretcher off of a platform.

At this point, the segment clearly seemed to be over, but Strowman still wasn’t done. Roman Reigns was loaded into an ambulance, but then Strowman came back one final time, attacking Roman some more and flipping the ambulance over with Roman in it.

All throughout, the Long Island crowd, which had been relatively quiet throughout the broadcast, cheered for Braun Strowman, saying “Thank you Strowman” and “You deserve it,” with the latter chant being directed at Roman Reigns.

It’s clear from this that Roman Reigns is not about to turn heel as some fans had speculated. In fact, it seems that the WWE might use this as an excuse to take Roman off of television for a few weeks, allowing the audience’s post-WrestleMania hatred to die down.
