Giancarlo Stanton will be participating in tonight’s Home Run Derby as well as Tuesday night’s All-Star Game in Miami. The outfielder for the Miami Marlins broke on to the scene 10 years ago and quickly became a local favorite. He is now one of the best players in the league. This season, Stanton’s batting average is .277. He has 26 home runs and 58 RBIs.
While Stanton, 27, might be an incredible asset to the Miami Marlins team, he has done his absolute best to keep his name out of the tabloids. As one of the most talked about athletes in MLB, that isn’t an easy task to do.
Stanton’s dating life has been a topic of discussion during various interviews that he has done, but he hasn’t formally introduced a girlfriend to the world. According to the website Who’s Dated Who, Stanton is currently single.
In 2015, Stanton sat down for an interview with Ocean Drive. He told the outlet that he’s hoping to start a family one day, but that he isn’t too worried about finding “the one.”
“I definitely want a family. The future family, the future wife could be anywhere. You don’t necessarily go searching for it on all theseand stuff, but she’ll come. I’m not worried about it,” he told the publication.
According to FabWags, Stanton has posted a few pictures of himself with different women on Instagram, but it doesn’t appear as though he’s dating one of them in particular. Although there has been some chatter about him dating Portuguese model Sara Sampaio, but it appears as though the two are just friends. Check out the Instagram post below in which he refers to Sampaio as “mi amiga.”
