Hoopsgiving Live Stream: Montverde’s R.J. Barrett, Jalen Lecque & More Top Recruits


Holiday Hoopsgiving is a two-day high school basketball tournament that tips off in Atlanta on Friday, November 24 and runs through Saturday, November 25. Hoopsgiving is widely regarded as one of the best high school basketball showcases, and features some of the top recruits in the country.

SUV TV will be providing free live streams for both days of the event, and you can watch live streams of some of the top games below. We’re here to highlight the top matchups featuring some of the best teams and players in the nation. Montverde’s R.J. Barrett headlines the tournament as the top-ranked player of the 2018 class. Barrett is committed to play at Duke next season, but had interest from other top programs including Kentucky, Michigan, Oregon and UCLA. Barrett isn’t the only player drawing interest on a star-studded Montverde roster.

Wesleyan’s Jalen Hoard is ranked as Rivals’ No. 29 player for the class of 2018. Hoard is committed to Wake Forest, and drew interest from a number of schools including Arizona, Washington and NC State. Hoard’s Weslyan teammate Aaron Wiggins is ranked No. 42 in the 2018 class. Wiggins is committed to Maryland, and also had offers from Kansas, Florida and Arizona among others.

Mountain Brook’s Trendon Watford is also part of the action. Watford is the No. 18 ranked player in the 2019 class, and has offers from Indiana, Kansas, Alabama, Tennessee along with a long list of other schools.

Montverde (Florida) vs. Trinity Episcopal (Virginia)


Friday, November 24 at 6:45 p.m. Eastern

Montverde has one of the most talented rosters in the country. The No. 1 ranked Barrett leads the way for Montverde, but the school has a total of eight players ranked in both the 2018/2019 Top 150. Montverde’s Andrew Nembhard is ranked No. 26 in the 2018 class, and has committed to Florida.

Makhi Mitchell is a Top 50 prospect in the 2019 class, and is headed to Maryland. Michael Devoe and Filip Petrusev are also ranked in the Top 100 players for the 2018 class. Jordan Mitchell, Makhel Mitchell and Trae Broadnax are also ranked in the Top 150 players for the 2019 class.

Trinity’s Armando Bacot is Rivals No. 13 ranked prospect in the 2019 class, and is currently undecided on his college choice. Bacot’s offers include Florida, Oregon, Miami and Villanova.


Christ School (North Carolina) vs. McEachern (Georgia)


Saturday, November 24 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern

Christ School’s Jalen Lecque is Rivals’ No. 19 prospect in the 2019 class, and is one of the most coveted point guards in the country. Lecque has received offers from Miami, Kansas, Florida, Georgia Tech and a list of others.

Lecque’s Christ School will square off against a McEachern team led by Isaac Okoro, the No. 33 ranked 2019 recruit. Okoro is undecided, and his offer list includes Alabama, Clemson, Florida State and Florida. McEachern also has Babatunde Akingbola who is ranked in the Top 150 for 2019.
