Few would have predicted a Jared Goff-Case Keenum quarterback matchup in a game with major playoff implications, but what has been predictable is the Minnesota Vikings’ performance when a good team comes to the Twin Cities.
The Vikings are listed as 2.5-point favorites on the NFL Week 11 odds against the Los Angeles Rams with a 46-point total in a highly anticipated matchup, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
The OddsShark NFL Database points out some conflicting trends with NFC North-leading Minnesota. The Vikings are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games at home against teams with winning records, although it remains to be seen if that trend wins out over their 0-3 straight-up record in their last three games after a five-game SU win streak.
The Rams, meanwhile, are 1-5 SU in their last six games against Minnesota but are clearly not the same team that was mediocrity personified in St. Louis.
The Philadelphia Eagles are 4.5-point road favorites against the Dallas Cowboys, with a 48 total in the Sunday Night Football matchup. The visiting team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 games of this matchup. The Cowboys are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 home games in November.
The Seattle Seahawks are three-point favorites against the Atlanta Falcons, with a 44.5 total in the Monday Night Football matchup. The Falcons are 9-3 SU and 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games on the west coast. The Seahawks are 11-0 SU in their last 11 games on Monday. The total has gone UNDER in four of the Seahawks’ last five games.
The New England Patriots are 7.5-point favorites against the Oakland Raiders down in Mexico City, with a 55 total. The Patriots are 17-2 SU in their last 19 games in the late afternoon. The Raiders are 5-0 ATS in their last five games after a bye. The total has gone over in the Raiders’ last seven games against AFC East teams.
The New Orleans Saints are 7.5-point favorites against the Washington Redskins, with a 51 total. The Redskins are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games against teams with winning records. The Saints are 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite. The total has gone over in 12 of the Saints’ last 17 games at home.
The Kansas City Chiefs are 10.5-point road favorites against the New York Giants, with a 45 total. The total has gone under in four of the Chiefs’ last five games against the Giants. The Giants are 2-12 SU in their last 14 games as home underdogs.
And the Los Angeles Chargers are six-point favorites against the Buffalo Bills (who will start QB Nathan Peterman), with a 41 total. The Bills are 11-1 SU and 11-0-1 ATS in their last 12 games after consecutive losses. The Chargers are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games at home in November.
