Waiver Wire Week 10: Top Pickups, Adds & Fantasy Rankings

Getty For teams looking for help at wide receiver, Cole Beasley is worth adding.

November means it is playoffs or bust as the fantasy football postseason push kicks into high gear. For teams on the borderline of making the playoffs, it is time to ditch roster stashes in favor of players that can help you win this week. As you are making your waiver claims, You will want to keep in mind Baltimore, Kansas City, Oakland and Philadelphia are all on bye this week. This could leave you shorthanded, and you should prioritize players you can put in your lineup in place of players on a bye week.

As it has been for the past several weeks, the waiver wire is scarce. If you are a team heading to the playoffs, this is a week to prioritize rookie stashes or handcuffs if your waiver wire options are thin.

While he may be owned in your league, Kenyan Drake needs to be picked up, as we advised you to do last week, just in case he is still available in your league. There’s a good chance Drake has already been scooped up, but the good news is another Dolphins running back has emerged as fantasy relevant. Damien Williams saw an uptick in opportunities, but you could be scared away by his seven carries for 14 yards. What is more exciting is Williams six catches for 47 yards and a touchdown, making Williams especially relevant in PPR leagues.

If you need help at wide receiver, Cole Beasley and Josh Docston are two players to target. Both Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams sustained injuries on Sunday, and Beasley could see an increase in targets if either of these receivers are unable to play this week. Dak Prescott has a history of targeting Beasley, but Beasley’s fantasy production has been inconsistent this season. Beasley had a breakout performance last week, and more opportunities could be coming his way.

Doctson has yet to have a breakout game with the Redskins, but was inches away from a touchdown against the Seahawks. After missing his true rookie season, the Redskins are trying to involve Docston more in the offense, and fans can expect that to continue given the Redskins used a first round pick on Doctson in 2016.

I’ve also listed Jared Goff for those that need quarterback help. Goff does not have ideal matchups the next two weeks with the Texans and Vikings. However, the Rams offense if for real, as their 50-point explosion demonstrated this past week. Goff is only going to get better in Sean McVay’s offense, meaning his best fantasy performances are yet to come.

With Ezekiel Elliott’s long-term status still up in the air, Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden are both worth adding in they are available. Morris should be prioritized over McFadden.
