After 12 wins and a trip to the divisional round last year, the Los Angeles Chargers enter 2019 among the favorites in the AFC.
Chargers games this year will be on either CBS (9 games–televised in select markets), Fox (3 games–televised in select markets), NBC (2 games–nationally televised) or ESPN (1 game–nationally televised), while one of the Fox games (Nov. 7 vs. Oakland) will also be on Amazon Prime.
If you don’t have cable, you can watch Chargers games live on your computer, phone, Roku, Fire TV Stick, Xbox One, PS4 or other streaming device via one of the following cable-free, live-TV streaming services:
In-Market & Nationally Televised Games: Hulu With Live TV

If You’re in Canada: DAZN
Viewers in Canada can watch every regular season and postseason NFL game live online via DAZN, a digital streaming service that also includes NFL Network, NFL RedZone, Premier League soccer, Champions League soccer, boxing and other live sports for $20 per month or $150 per year.

Chargers 2019 Season Preview
The Chargers went 12-4 last year, their best mark since they won 13 games in 2009. They ranked in the top 11 in points, points allowed, yards, and yards allowed.
Amid the holdout of star running back Melvin Gordon and days before their 2019 regular season debut, the Chargers inked four-time Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey to a one-year, $9 million extension to keep him in powder blue through 2020.
The 30-year-old joined the Chargers as a free agent before the 2018 campaign.
“From day one, Mike has been everything we thought he’d be and more,” general manager Tom Telesco said, according to Chargers.com. “He’s an unquestioned leader, both in the locker room and on the field, who has earned the respect of teammates and coaches alike. His relentless work ethic — there have been times where we’ve had to fight to keep him off the practice field — and toughness are contagious.”
Pouncey and his cohorts on the offensive line surrendered 34 sacks last year, the eighth-fewest in the NFL. Chargers rushers averaged 4.7 yards per carry, the league’s seventh-best mark.
For the 13th straight season, quarterback Philip Rivers didn’t miss a start. He completed 68.3 percent of his passes for 4,308, yards, 32 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
Following the departure of wide receiver Tyrell Williams, who joined the Oakland Raiders during the offseason, Rivers will likely look more to third-year wideout Mike Williams, the seventh overall pick in the 2017 draft.
“To me, he’s never really covered,” Rivers said of his 6-foot-4-inch receiver, according to ESPN. “Obviously, you don’t just throw it up all of the time. The percentages aren’t in your favor all of the time, but he has such a catch radius, and he’s so big. When most guys might look covered and you see him, you go, ‘Well, maybe he has a chance.’
“I’ve grown used to that over the years with some of the receivers we’ve had here in the past. He’s similar to those guys in that aspect of going up and making catches. … He’s going to be a big part of what we do.”
After an injury-marred rookie season, the speedy Williams led the Chargers with 10 touchdown catches in 2018. He made 43 grabs for 664 yards and added a rushing touchdown.
“That’s the main thing — to be healthy throughout the whole season, be available — and I feel like the rest will happen,” Williams said, per ESPN. “With me being a wide receiver, I feel like my availability is the best for me. I feel like, if I’m out there, I’m going to make plays for the team, so [my goal is] just to be available.”
