Jerome (ankle) will remain on the sidelines for Game 3 versus the Magic on Thursday. Jerome is still recovering from ankle surgery and hasn't played since Oct. 27. Even if he's cleared to suit up during the postseason, he's unlikely to crack the rotation.

Latest Cavaliers News
Ty Jerome : Won’t play Thursday
Jerome (ankle) will remain on the sidelines for Game 3 versus the Magic on Thursday. Jerome is still recovering from ankle surgery and hasn't played since Oct. 27. Even if he's cleared to suit up during the postseason, he's unlikely to crack the rotation.
Craig Porter : Won’t play Thursday
Porter (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's Game 3 matchup with Orlando. Porter has yet to play this postseason, but he's a negligible part of the rotation. His next chance to wear a uniform will come Saturday.
Dean Wade : Ruled out for Game 3
Wade (knee) didn't practice Wednesday and will be unavailable for Thursday's Game 3 against the Magic, Evan Dammarell of FearTheSword.com reports. Wade hasn't suited up since March 8 due to a right knee sprain, and it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return. However, the team has been evaluating him on a game-by-game basis, and his next chance to suit up will be in Saturday's Game 4.
Darius Garland : Leads from deep in Game 2 win
Garland posted 15 points (5-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one steal over 32 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series. Garland had a strong showing from deep in Cleveland's second straight victory to begin the series, connecting on a team-high mark from three while handing out a team-high-tying assist total and ending as one of four Cavaliers with 15 or more points. Garland has provided a nice boost for Cleveland through two games in the first round, posting at least 14 points, four assists and three rebounds in two straight outings.
Jarrett Allen : Owns boards in 20-rebound game
Allen finished with 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-8 FT), 20 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals over 39 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series. Allen did it all to help Cleveland take a commanding 2-0 series lead, leading all players in Monday's contest in rebounds while pacing the Cavaliers in blocks to go along with a pair of steals in a double-double performance. Allen has owned the glass over the first two games of the opening-round series, recording at least 18 rebounds and a double-double in both contests.
Donovan Mitchell : Top scorer in Game 2 victory
Mitchell tallied 23 points (9-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series. Mitchell once again led Cleveland offensively in another victory in the opening-round series, finishing with a game-high scoring total while handing out a team-high-tying quartet of assists and ending two boards shy of a double-double. The Cavaliers will continue to ride Mitchell's offensive firepower in the postseason, with Mitchell posting at least 23 points in both games of the first round thus far.
Ty Jerome : Remains out
Jerome (ankle) has been ruled out for Game 2 of the opening-round series against the Magic on Monday. Jerome hasn't played since Oct. 27 and underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle in late January. He doesn't have a return timetable.
Dean Wade : Won’t play Game 2
Wade (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 2 against Orlando. Wade's next opportunity to take the court comes with additional rest, as the series switches to Orlando for Game 3 on Thursday. He has not taken the court since March 8 due to a right knee sprain. That being said, Wade's size and defensive prowess would likely yield a small role off the bench if he's able to return to action in the postseason.
