Boston saw extended minutes Sunday with most of the key players for Los Angeles resting, but he could potentially have a role in the playoffs if Kawhi Leonard (knee) can't shake his knee issue.
Brown totaled nine points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals over 38 minutes during Sunday's 116-105 loss to Houston. Brown has had a sporadic role for the Clippers all season but saw extended run Sunday with most of the key players getting the day off for rest. Brown will finish the regular season with averages of 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.0 minutes across 44 appearances.
Moon supplied 14 points (6-22 FG, 2-9 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block across 46 minutes during Sunday's 116-105 loss to the Rockets. The Clippers rested their key players for Sunday, as their position in the standings was locked in a few days ago. Moon has rarely seen the floor for the Clippers, as he was making just his 14th appearance of the season. Since he's one of the Clippers' three two-way players, Moon won't be eligible to play in any postseason games.
Hyland (not injury related) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rockets, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Hyland has totaled 57 points, 15 assists and six steals over his last two appearances, including one start, and he was in line for another elevated role Sunday, as most of the Clippers' regulars are resting. However, the youngster has been ruled out an hour before tipoff after not being listed on any of the previous injury reports. It's unclear if he'll have a regular rotational role during the postseason.
