Rodgers was reinstated by the NFL on Tuesday after he was suspended for the 2023 season for violating the NFL's gambling policy, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Rodgers was originally suspended in June of 2023 after making bets on NFL games, which led to him being waived by the Colts. Despite the suspension, the UMass product inked a new deal with the Eagles two months later. With his suspension lifted, Rodgers will now be able to participate in all team activities for the first time since he signed with Philadelphia.

Dean (foot) said Thursday that he's been out of his walking boot since February, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports. Dean has been dealing with a foot injury that forced him to miss Philadelphia's final seven games last season, but it sounds like he could be returning to the field soon. Dean logged 30 total tackles, including 0.5 sacks throughout his five appearances in 2023, and the 23-year-old is expected to remain one of the Philadelphia's top inside linebackers once his recovery from Lisfranc surgery is complete.
Smith agreed to terms Monday to a three-year, $75 million extension with the Eagles, Ian Rapaport of NFL Network reports Smith's extension reportedly includes $51 million guaranteed, though the exact terms remain to be disclosed. That keeps the young wideout linked to Philly through the 2028 season, with Zach Bergman of The Athletic reporting that the team is additionally exercising Smith's fifth-year option. He remains in a plus fantasy situation alongside fellow WR A.J. Brown as one of the go-to passing options for quarterback Jalen Hurts, along with tight end Dallas Goedert and new running back Saquon Barkley.
The Eagles signed Uzomah (knee) to a one-year contract Thursday, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. After spending the first nine years of his career with the Bengals and Jets, Uzomah has found a new home in Philadelphia. The nine-year veteran appeared in the Jets' first 12 games last year before sustaining a season-ending MCL injury. In those contests, Uzomah tallied eight receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown, playing in just 32-percent of the team's offensive snaps. Once 31-year-old has recovered from his MCL issue, he's expected to compete for the Eagles' top backup tight end role behind Dallas Goedert.
The Eagles and Mailata agreed to terms Thursday on a three-year, $66 million contract extension Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Mailata becomes one of the NFL's highest-paid left tackles, and will remain under contract for Philadelphia through the 2028 season. Since agreeing to his first extension back in 2021, Mailata has solidified himself as one of the league's best LTs, making his continued presence as the protector of Jalen Hurts' blind side a linchpin of the Eagles offense, especially with the O-line still recovering from Jason Kelce's retirement.
Maddox and the Eagles agreed to terms Thursday on a one-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Maddox has only suited up for 13 regular-season games over the past two years, including just four in 2023 due to a torn pectoral muscle. It makes sense for both sides to reunite on a more team friendly deal now, with Maddox getting a chance to return to form in a familiar system before testing free agency again next offseason. The 28-year-old is capable of contributing at a high level as a nickel corner when healthy.
Blankenship had surgery to repair a groin injury suffered Week 18 against the Giants and is, "pretty much 100% back to normal," Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports. Blankenship signed a one-year extension with the Eagles on Monday, after a 2023 campaign that saw him record 113 combined tackles, which led the team, despite playing just 15 regular-season games. The 25-year-old stated, "It feels good now not being as sore anymore like I did this past season dealing with it," possibly insinuating the injury was effecting him before his early exit in Week 18. A healthy Blankenship should be good news for the Eagles secondary in 2024.
The Eagles signed Blankenship (groin) to a one-year contract extension Monday. Blankenship led Philadelphia in tackles (113 total, 79 solo) and interceptions (three) last season while suiting up for 15 regular-season games, so it makes complete sense for the team to extend him through 2025. A groin injury kept Blankenship from suiting up for the Eagles' wild-card loss to the Buccaneers, but given that his status for that contest came down to the wire, the safety should be fully healthy for the start of offseason workouts.
