Carlos Condit, Rory MacDonald Agree to UFC 115 Bout

Carlos Condit and Rory MacDonald have verbally agreed to a welterweight bout at UFC 115 in June.

MMA Junkie issued the report this afternoon.

UFC 115 isn’t even close to being officially announced, but it is expected to take place on June 12 at the GM Place in Vancouver. It will be the UFC’s first live event in Vancouver, who recently sanctioned mixed martial arts on a trial basis.

Condit was scheduled to fight Paul Daley at UFC 108 in December. But the former WEC champion was forced to pull out of the bout due to a severe injury. Condit sliced his hand open in his garage and contracted a serious staph infection, forcing him to the sidelines.

MacDonald made his UFC debut earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 20, beating Mike Guymon in the first round. MacDonald is just 20 years old but has been fighting professionally since the age of 16.
