Davis contributed 20 points (6-16 FG, 8-10 FT), 15 rebounds, three blocks and one steal in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game victory over the Pelicans. Davis was able to battle through back spasms in Tuesday's win and thinks the extra rest before Saturday's Game 1 against the Nuggets will allow him to fully recover, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. While the star big man struggled from the field, he hauled in a clutch offensive rebound off a LeBron James miss with 15 seconds and was able to convert on four free throws down the stretch to ice the game.

Latest Lakers News
Anthony Davis : Clutch performance in win
D'Angelo Russell : Lands five triples in win
Russell finished Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game victory over the Pelicans with 21 points (7-14 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes. Russell was hot early, connecting on three of his five triples in the opening quarter. Although he did cool off, he was able to connect on a crucial three-pointer late in the piece, giving the Lakers a four-point lead with only seconds remaining. The Lakers will need Russell to stay hot should they hope to advance past the defending champion Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.
LeBron James : Flirts with triple-double Tuesday
James registered 23 points (6-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 10-10 FT), nine rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and three steals over 41 minutes during Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game victory over the Pelicans. James fell just one rebound and one assist short of his second straight triple-double. It continues what has been a fantastic season for James, a campaign that will now last at least another four games. The Nuggets await the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs, a matchup that should be a must-watch given the history between the two teams.
Spencer Dinwiddie : Non-factor in win
Dinwiddie recorded zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over five minutes during Tuesday's 110-106 Play-In Game victory over the Pelicans. Dinwiddie barely touched the floor in the win, managing just five minutes of playing time. The Lakers opted to go with Gabe Vincent as the primary backup, a move that could very well stick given his defensive upside. Tuesday's win means the Lakers will now go on to face the Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.
Cam Reddish : Ruled out Tuesday
Reddish (ankle) won't play in Tuesday's Play-In Tournament game versus the Pelicans, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. Reddish has been downgraded from questionable to out Tuesday due to a right ankle sprain. In his absence, Taurean Prince and Rui Hachimura should continue to receive increased playing time.
Anthony Davis : Good to go for primetime
Davis (back) has been cleared for Wednesday's Play-In Tournament game against New Orleans, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. Davis' aggravating his back/hip spasms in Sunday's win over New Orleans is troubling given that he has battled the affliction all season, but he appears to be no worse for the wear. A rematch against New Orleans pits Davis versus Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas, while Davis has averaged 21.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.0 blocks across four contests versus the Pelicans this season.
LeBron James : Set to play Tuesday
James (ankle) is available for Tuesday's Play-In Tournament game against the Pelicans, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. James has been upgraded from probable to available Tuesday despite dealing with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy. The superstar forward averaged 31.0 points, 12.5 assists, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.0 blocks in 37.5 minutes across his two appearances against New Orleans this season.
Cam Reddish : Dealing with ankle trouble
Reddish is questionable for Tuesday's Play-In Game against New Orleans due to a right ankle sprain, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports. Reddish did not suit up for the final two games of the regular season, missing a contest due to personal matters and being a healthy scratch for the finale. He's now dealing with pain in the same ankle that has sidelined him for multiple stretches this season, although he has been a minimal factor in the Lakers' rotation of late. Nonetheless, if he's unavailable to play Tuesday, the defensive burden on the wings will fall entirely on the shoulders of Taurean Prince, Rui Hachimura and LeBron James (ankle).
