Steve Wozniak Calls Out Ashton Kutcher On His jOBS Role

A clip from jOBS, a new movie that tells the story of Steve Jobs and how he became one of the largest entrepreneurs of the 20th Century, surfaced yesterday afternoon. In the movie, Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad will take on the roles as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, respectively. Apple’s co-founder, Steve Wozniak, is already criticizing Ashton Kutcher’s performance for playing his role totally wrong. Wozniak says, “Not close…we never had such interaction and roles…I’m not even sure what it’s getting at…personalities are very wrong although mine is closer,” Wozniak wrote.

Wozniak isn’t worried about Kutcher’s acting skills, but more so concerned about the characters personalities, wardrobe malfunctions, and Josh Gad’s issues with plot points.

Although Wozniak isn’t happy about what he saw in the first clip, he told Gizmodo, “I never looked like a professional. We were both kids. Our relationship was so different than what was portrayed. I’m embarrassed but if the movie is fun and entertaining, all the better. Anyone who reads my book iWoz can get a clearer picture.”

For those who won’t get to see the premiere of jOBS at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend you will have to wait until April 19th.
