PHOTOS: iPhone 5S Rear Shell and Parts Coming in Graphite?

If the graphite color turns out to be true, its another sign Apple has faith in trying new things for the iPhone (Mashable)

Apple will never let the rumor mill stop spinning when it comes to their newest selection of iPhones. The golden case was believed to be the biggest selling point of the rumored iPhone 5s, but new pictures surfacing this morning show that might not be the only new cover we could get.

MacRumors obtained this picture from MendMyi, an Apple item repair firm. The buttons on the far left are supposed to be from the graphite phone. (Macrumors)

Graphite grey appears to be the newest addition to this batch of smartphones, based on the authenticity of these new photos. Adding on to the traditional black and white color scheme, customers could expect four types of covers this fall.

Sonny Dickson is responsible for these latest leaks (Sonny Dickson)

Unsurprisingly, these images were found on Sonny Dickson’s blog. Dickson is becoming a rising star with Apple-related leaks but its still questionable for how accurate this color with the phone could be. The process to anodyze these phones into gold is an easy process which means a knock-off with this shade could be produced in a simple manner.

Dickson’s collage provides an in-depth look at the phone instead of the traditionally “blurry” photos that come from sites overseas. Personally, I like the grey look with black trim. Instead of the flashy “champagne” color, I think this is a nice alternative to its more luxurious cousin.
