In a timely Halloween mystery, Dropbox has issued invitations to the press for an announcement on November 13th. The invitation posted on Mashable doesn’t reveal anything about what could happen. The cloud storage kingpin could have something pretty special.
Dropbox has over 200 million users in its database. If the company plans on expanding, they already have had a very busy year. They launched the dropbox platform back in July which turned out to be an excellent addition to their service. The program integrates apps and makes it easier to access data. Essentially, the platform serves as a replacement communication hub for computers. The likelihood Dropbox will be expanding on this next month is pretty high. The cloud is still an area that could be explored more and Dropbox could capitalize on it.
