How to Use Evernote App to Stay Organized


If you’re looking for a note-taking app that will improve productivity and help you stay organized, Evernote is one of the best note-taking apps available for iOS and Android devices. Here’s a guide on how to use Evernote app to stay organized.

1.Download the Evernote App


Head on over to the Play Store or App Store and download the Evernote app. Once the app has download, open up the app and enter in your email address to create a new account. You will then need to check your email to verify your account. By doing this, you will be able to use Evernote across computers, phones and tablets.

2.Create Your First Note


By tapping on text, you can create your first note. If you check the toolbar, you can change the style of the text by making it bold, italicize or underline the text. You can add photos from image gallery on your smartphone, record voice notes, create tasks lists and highlight important notes. If you tap on the ‘i” in the top right-hand corner, you can create tags for your notes and add your location.

If you’re using an Android device, you can take advantage of Evernote’s handwriting feature which allows you to write notes with your finger or a stylus pen. To use the new handwriting feature, you can simply click the pen icon and start writing down notes. If you need more space to write notes, click on the down arrow, and tap the plus. You’ll still be able to record audio, add attachments, and add images into notes. The latest update to Evernote also includes an enhanced note editor with highlighting options and faster camera giving you a more enjoyable experience with Evernote.

3. Share Your Notes With Co-Workers



You can easily share your notes with family members, friends and co-workers by tapping on the ellipsis button. Tap on share and you can share notes via text, email, Facebook and Twitter. You will be given the option to even print notes, copy link and export notes. If you’re on an iOS device, you can also share notes instantly with people nearby using AirDrop.

4. Capture Photos and Important Documents


The Evernote app allows you to capture photos. You can use the in-app camera to capture post-it notes, important documents and business cards. To use each feature, just simply tap on post-it-note, photo, document and business card. Any post-it notes you create, you will see on the main screen under notes. By tapping on photos, you can access the image gallery on your smartphone. Here you can select photos you want to add to your camera roll. By going to your camera roll, you can see the images you’ve captured. This is a great feature for those who like to save receipts or bills.

5. Create Task Lists


If you have a busy day ahead, be sure to create task lists using the Evernote app. It’s a great feature, and will make it easier for you not to forget anything important things you have to do that day. If you have to go to the grocery store, you can create a list and check off items as your shopping. By creating task-lists, you’ll feel organized and productive as you mark things off your list. Task lists can be shared, so it’s a great way to collaborate with coworkers, classmates, or family.
