Apple has confirmed the rumors that have been swirling for some time now. The next Apple event will take place on October 16. The event is expected to include the unveiling of new iPad models, including the long-rumored iPad Pro (a 12.9-inch version of the iPad you know and love, targeted towards enterprise clients).
The October 16 event will start at 10 a.m. local time and will take place at Apple’s Town Hall Auditorium in Cupertino, California. Apple has sent out invitations to the media to this event, which bear the phrase “It’s been way too long.”
In addition to new iPads, the event is also rumored to feature new iMacs, a new Mac Mini, and final look at OS X Yosemite, which debuted in a preview version earlier this year at WWDC.
