Apple has unveiled their new iMac. The new iMac was revealed at an event on October 16, an event which also featured the debut of some new iPad models. Here’s a guide to everything you need to know about price, preorder, and ship dates for the new iMac computer, as well as the new Mac Mini.
The new iMac boasts a 3.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5, or a 4GHz i7. It has a Retina 5K display, and measures 27 inches. $2499 is the starting price. The new Mac Mini, billed by Apple as the “most energy efficient desktop” will start at $499, or $100 less than the old Mac Mini.
The Mac Mini will start shipping today. The new 5K display iMac will also start shipping today.
