Best Buy has released their Doorbusters ad for Black Friday 2014. This year, Best Buy will be opening at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving to kick off the Black Friday fun a few hours early. Best Buy will stay open til 1 a.m on Friday, and then reopen at 8 a.m. Some of the deals will be available online at BestBuy.com, but some deals are available in-store only.
Some of this year’s best Black Friday offers from Best Buy include discounts on video game console bundles, smartphones, and HDTVs. You can view the whole ad here, or read on to see which deals we’ve singled out as the best of the best Black Friday deals at Best Buy.
1. 32GB Wii U Bundle for $359.97
If you’re a Nintendo fan (or just shopping for one), this bundle is pretty darn sweet. The Black Friday bundle at Best Buy includes four games: Super Mario 3D World, NintendoLand, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, and Donkey Kong Country Tropical. If you want a great, kid-friendly video game bundle, this will get you started.
2. Panasonic 50-Inch LED HDTV for $199.99
It’s big. It’s cheap. It’s a pretty typical Black Friday deal. If you’re still on the fence about this TV, read some of the customer reviews on the Best Buy site.
3. Samsung Galaxy S5 for $1 (With 2-Year Activation)
The Samsung Galaxy S5 came out last spring, and the next version of the phone will be the Samsung Galaxy S6, due out in early 2015. With a new Galaxy S phone coming in just a few months, it’s no wonder Best Buy is selling the S5 for just $1. It’s a good deal, but only if you’re not planning on getting a new phone in a few months. If you’re planning to grab this deal from Best Buy, you might want to check out our recommendations for the best Galaxy S5 cases.
You should note that Best Buy is also running the same $1 (with 2-year activation) promo for the LG G3.
4. 21.5-inch iMac for $899.99
Best Buy has taken $200 off the price of Apple’s entry-level 21.5-inch iMac. This computer has an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive. Do note that this is the entry-level iMac, and it doesn’t have the amazing display of the new iMac with 5K Retina display.
5. Surface Pro 3 for $100 to $150 Off
The Surface Pro 3 is one of the many tablets being offered as a Black Friday doorbuster deal at Best Buy. This premium tablet is as powerful as a laptop, though you should note that you’ll need to pay extra to get the companion keyboard.

6. 55-inch Samsung UHD 4K TV for $899.99
If you’re looking for a quality TV, this Best Buy deal is worth considering. The retail price is usually $1,999.99, and Best Buy normally sells this TV for $1,399.99. If you’ve been wanting to get a 4K set, Black Friday might be the right time to buy. If you plan to watch Netflix in 4K on your new TV, you should check out our guide to setting up 4K Netflix streaming.
7. Dropcam for $99.99 ($50 off)
If you’re looking for a simple home security solution, this is a solid bet. $50 off the regular price is a nice deal for the Dropcam.
8. GoPro Hero3+ Silver Edition for $50 Off
Target is also offering a GoPro discount for Black Friday, but Best Buy is outdoing Target. While both retailers are offering this camera for the same price, Best Buy adds some nicer perks to sweeten the deal. Target offers a $50 gift card with their GoPro deal. At Best Buy, you’ll get the camera for $249.99, alongside a free 16GB SD card and LCD Touch BacPac valued at $94.98.
9. Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle for $329.99
Note that this is pretty much the same deal as what Target is running, except Target is also adding a $50 gift card into the mix. Still, if you don’t have the time (or energy) to hit both Target and Best Buy on Black Friday, you can rest easy knowing you’ll get almost as good a deal at Best Buy on this bundle. If you can get to both stores, you might be happier with Target’s version of this bundle.
10. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for Free (Kinda)
Best Buy is offering $0 down for the Galaxy Note 4, but only for qualified buyers. You’ll also get a $50 Best Buy gift card thrown into the mix. This is a good deal, since the Note 4 has only been out for a few weeks. Since a lot of Black Friday discounts center around older tech, it’s nice to see this kind of deal for a relatively new product. You can check out some of our favorite Note 4 cases and accessories here.
