Excited about today’s Apple iPhone 7 Keynote but not sure if you’ll be able to watch it? Even if you don’t have a Mac, there are still a lot of ways that you can watch the keynote live. If you have a Windows PC or an Android phone, multiple options are available to you so you can still watch the keynote event as it airs, including using a livestream URL via the VLC player, which we have below. We are also providing two YouTube streams at the end of this story, but you’ll likely get better quality using one of the earlier methods. (See a Tweet about the iPhone 7 that Apple accidentally released early here.)

Official Livestream Links for Windows

The official link for watching the livestream is here. The only problem is that if you don’t have a Mac, an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you’ll have a tougher time accessing the stream. Android users are especially out of luck.

To watch the livestream on your Windows PC, only Windows 10 with the Microsoft Edge browser will work.

How to Watch the Apple Keynote via VLC Player and Direct Livestream URL

If you don’t have Windows 10 or if you’re using an Android, there may still be another option for you. A Reddit thread on the topic suggests that you can watch the keynote on your PC via a free VLC player, but you’ll need the full livestream URL for this to work. This also works if you have an Android; you can download a VLC player for Android on the Play Store.

According to Reddit, the direct livestream URL to use for VLC in high-resolution is here. The low resolution VLC link is here. These links will only work in VLC app. They’ll download an .m3u8 file to your computer. (Note: If you try to open these early, they may show an old keynote or not work at all, according to the Reddit thread. We’ll update this post with newer links if better ones are shared before the keynote.)

According to 9to5Mac, to use these links, first download the VLC app, whether you’re using a Windows PC or Android phone. Install VLC and launch it. Select the “Open Network Stream” on the Media tab. In the URL field, find and copy the direct livestream URL for this Apple event. Press play and begin watching. (It won’t work until the event itself has started.)

Note that watching this way doesn’t always work and the live stream can sometimes quit. If you want a high quality version and can’t watch it live, Apple will load the full video later to iTunes and you can watch it there.

How to Watch the iPhone 7 Keynote Using a Chrome App

If none of these options are working for you, there’s still one thing you can try. WWDChrome is an app that lets you watch Apple’s WWDC Developer Videos using Google Chrome, without needing Safari or Edge. On Reddit, Apple fans have suggested that this will work for the Keynote address today also. You can access the app here.

YouTube Streams

The following YouTube are set up to show the keynote address, but the quality may not be as good and the streams may not last through the entire presentation. You can watch here, but you will likely get better quality by trying one of the methods above first:
