While Black Friday is an excellent opportunity to score Christmas gifts, it can also be a good time to score a few deals on practical items, as well. Auto parts and tools certainly fall into that category, and Amazon has a handful of them to consider.
This year is especially good for owners of General Motors vehicles, as select ACDelco parts are on sale. There are also savings to be had on NOCO and Schumacher products, if you’ve been eyeing a new car jump starter. To top it off, there are a few sales on car cleaning products, too.
Hello, time travelers! If you’re looking for Black Friday automotive deals for 2017, see our current Black Friday post here.
If you’re shopping for the mechanic in your family this year, check out our list of the top five best Amazon Black Friday automotive deals.
1. Up to 25 Percent Off Select ACDelco Parts
If you or someone you love drives a Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, or any other General Motors vehicle, replacement parts for it are made by ACDelco, GM’s parts subsidiary. For Black Friday this year, Amazon has rolled out a pretty significant discount on various parts, which may or may not be useful depending on what you’re in the market for at the moment.
- 20 percent off radiators and heating components
- 20 percent off tire pressure monitoring system parts
- 25 percent off floor mats
A bit of a random selection, but could be a boon to anyone who needs the parts this winter.
2. 20 Percent Off Thule Products
If you’ve been considering buying a roof rack or box system, this might be the time to do it. Every size of the AeroBlade Edge Flush Mount Rack is on sale, with the smallest selling for under $200. Some of the discounts on these products appear to be more than 20 percent, so shop carefully. For example, smaller items like Lock Cylinders for Car Racks are 23 percent off. Shopping around could net you a good bargain, depending on your needs.
3. 60 Percent Off Battery Tender 400Amp 12V Lithium Jump Starter and Portable Power Pack
‘Tis the season for dead batteries, so you’ll almost certainly want to have a look at any car jump starter deals. The best one going might be this Battery Tender for less than half the normal price, saving you over $90. It features 400 peak cranking amps, reverse polarity protection, a USB charger, and an LED flashlight. Included in the package is a pouch for storage and the whole thing is small enough to fit in your glove compartment.
For a little over half the price, this BasAcc Portable Jump Starter is also on sale for Black Friday. If neither of these options will work for you, both Schumacher and NOCO prodcuts are 15 percent off until December 5th.
