American Pharoah finished off his legendary career with yet another dominant victory on Saturday afternoon, going wire-to-wire at the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Keeneland. With the win, he not only wins the $5 million purse, but he becomes the first horse in thoroughbred racing history to win both the Triple Crown and the Classic, otherwise known as the “Grand Slam.”
