Bohm went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 5-4 win over the Reds. Batting third in Philadelphia's lineup for the first time this year, Bohm smashed his fourth homer of the season Monday. The third baseman has hit fifth or higher in the batting in six consecutive games, so the Phillies are rewarding his hot streak at the plate. Over his last 22 contests, Bohm is hitting .301 (25-for-83) with three long balls, five doubles, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored to raise his season OPS to .604.

Latest Phillies News
Alec Bohm : Stays hot with solo shot
Bohm went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 5-4 win over the Reds. Batting third in Philadelphia's lineup for the first time this year, Bohm smashed his fourth homer of the season Monday. The third baseman has hit fifth or higher in the batting in six consecutive games, so the Phillies are rewarding his hot streak at the plate. Over his last 22 contests, Bohm is hitting .301 (25-for-83) with three long balls, five doubles, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored to raise his season OPS to .604.
Jhoan Duran : Slams door for eighth save
Duran secured the save Monday against the Reds, throwing a clean ninth inning. He struck out two. Duran has been especially dominant as of late, fanning multiple batters in six consecutive outings since coming off the injured list with an oblique strain in early May. The hard-throwing right-hander has established a very strong grip on Philadelphia's closer role, boasting a 1.42 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 21:5 K:BB over 12.2 innings while successfully converting all eight of his save opportunities.
Andrew Painter : First career quality start
Painter took a no-decision Monday against the Reds, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out three. It was a positive showing for the 23-year-old right-hander, but the Phillies still gave him a quick hook at just 69 pitches (44 strikes). Painter induced only three whiffs on the evening, but he didn't give up any extra-base hits and logged the first quality start of his major-league career. Painter, who hasn't reached the 70-pitch threshold in in either of his past two outings, will look to further improve on his 5.77 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 37:14 K:BB over 43.2 innings in his next scheduled appearance versus Cleveland.
Kyle Schwarber : Contending with illness
Phillies interim manager Don Mattingly said that Schwarber is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds due to an illness, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Though Schwarber was probably due for a breather sooner or later after starting in each of the Phillies' 47 games of the season, his absence from the lineup isn't a planned rest day. At the same time, Mattingly didn't indicate that Schwarber's illness is an overly serious concern, so the slugger could be available to pitch hit Monday and potentially return to the lineup Tuesday. Bryce Harper will serve as the Phillies' designated hitter Monday in place of Schwarber.
Brandon Marsh : Heading to bench vs. lefty
Marsh is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds. With southpaw Nick Lodolo on the bump for Cincinnati, the Phillies will counter with a pair of extra right-handed bats. Marsh and fellow left-handed-hitter Kyle Schwarber will exit the starting nine, opening up spots for Otto Kemp in left field and Edmundo Sosa at third base in the series opener.
Kyle Schwarber : Receiving first day off of 2026
Schwarber is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds. The Phillies haven't indicated that Schwarber is dealing with any sort of injury or illness coming out of their series in Pittsburgh over the weekend, so the slugger is presumably just getting a well-overdue day off while the Reds send lefty Nick Lodolo to the hill for the series opener. With Schwarber hitting the bench for the first time in 2026 starting in each of the Phillies' first 47 games, Bryce Harper will get a day off from playing first base and will occupy the designated-hitter spot.
Otto Kemp : Summoned from Triple-A
The Phillies recalled Kemp from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday. Philadelphia is scheduled to face off against a pair of lefty starters (Nick Lodolo and Andrew Abbott) during its three-game series with Cincinnati to begin the week, so Kemp will provide the big club with an extra right-handed bat. While he's up with the big club, Kemp could be a candidate to fill the short side of a platoon with Bryson Stott in the infield or Justin Crawford or Brandon Marsh in the outfield.
Felix Reyes : Sent back to minors
The Phillies optioned Reyes to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports. Reyes saw a decent amount of playing time initially upon his promotion last month, but he's hardly played lately with just one start over his team's last 10 games. Otto Kemp will grab the roster spot vacated by Reyes, who should receive more regular reps with Lehigh Valley.
