Nacua's attorney confirmed this week that the star wide receiver has checked into a rehab facility in Malibu, Cali., Edward Lewis of the California Post reports. Nacua has been in the news for the wrong reasons since the Rams' season came to an end in the NFC Championship Game against the Seahawks back in January. He was accused of biting a woman during a Dec. 31 night out in Los Angeles after consuming alcohol. The woman then pressed charges against Nacua, who has since checked into a recovery center. "He is committed to using this time constructively so that he can return in the best possible position - both personally and professionally - to continue contributing to his team and the game he loves," Nacua's lawyer, Levi McCathern, said via Steve Wyche of NFL Network. "He will complete the program in time to fully participate in all of the Rams' OTAs. Puka is also deeply grateful for the support he has received from his family, friends, coach [Sean] McVay and teammates."

Latest Rams News
Puka Nacua : Checks into rehab facility
Ronnie Rivers : Back with Rams
The Rams re-signed Rivers to a one-year deal Wednesday, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports. During the 2025 regular season, Rivers recorded 46 yards on nine carries over 11 games while also returning 16 kicks for 418 yards. Now that he's back in the fold for a fifth season with the Rams, Rivers should continue to work in a similar role as a special-teamer who provides depth to a backfield that also includes Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and Jarquez Hunter.
Larrell Murchison : Back with Los Angeles
The Rams re-signed Murchison to a one-year contract Monday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Murchison was cut by the Rams ahead of Week 18 back in January after he appeared in 16 regular-season games. The 28-year-old will provide depth on the defensive line after recording eight tackles (two solo), including 2.0 sacks, during the 2025 campaign.
Grant Stuard : Inks deal with Los Angeles
The Rams signed Stuard to a two-year contract worth up to $5.05 million Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The 27-year-old linebacker is a foundational piece on special teams, which was a major area of struggle for the Rams last season. Only 12 players logged more snaps on special teams last season than Stuard, who finished with 19 tackles (six solo) across 17 regular-season contests.
Keir Thomas : Staying with Rams
Thomas signed a one-year contract with the Rams on Thursday, Wyatt Miller of the team's official site reports. Thomas signed with the Rams in May of 2022 as an undrafted free agent and appeared in 17 regular-season games in his first three NFL seasons. He missed the entire 2025 season while on injured reserve due to an undisclosed issue. Thomas will compete for a depth role on defense and as a contributor on special teams for the 2026 season.
Jaylen Watson : Joining McDuffie on Rams
Watson (groin) agreed to a three-year contract with the Rams on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Watson's deal won't become official until the new league year begins Wednesday, at which point the Rams should officially have two former Chiefs cornerbacks on their roster in Watson and Trent McDuffie. Watson notched exactly six passes defensed in each of his four regular seasons with Kansas City, exceeding expectations after being drafted in the seventh round in 2022. He started all 15 games in which he appeared for the Chiefs in 2025 before missing the final two games of the season due to a groin injury, an issue he'll presumably be past ahead of OTAs.
Trent McDuffie : Becomes highest-paid cornerback
The Rams signed McDuffie to a four-year, $124 million extension Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The deal contains $100 million guaranteed and makes McDuffie the NFL's highest-paid cornerback at $31 million per year. The Rams sent multiple draft picks, including the No. 29 overall pick in next month's draft, to the Chiefs last week in exchange for McDuffie, and Los Angeles has now committed big money to the 25-year-old. McDuffie will be tasked with keying the Rams' secondary after it sprung leaks late last season.
Trent McDuffie : Working toward extension
McDuffie and the Rams have made significant progress on a contract extension, and the sides hope to have a deal done in the near future, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. McDuffie was sent to Los Angeles in a blockbuster deal that will become official this week, and the 25-year-old cornerback is due for a new deal as he heads into the final year of his rookie contract. McDuffie figures to command around $30 million per year on his new pact.
