McGowens will miss the rest of the regular season after suffering a right rib fracture during Monday's G League game with the Rip City Remix, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports. McGowens was the Remix's leading scorer in the G League, and across his last 10 outings he averaged 30.0 points on 50.3 percent shooting along with 4.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.9 blocks over 32.8 minutes per game. He appeared in 13 games for the Trail Blazers but averaged just 2.5 minutes per game. McGowens is on a one-year, two-way contract with the Trail Blazers, and it's unclear whether he'll return to the organization for the 2025-26 campaign.

Latest Trail Blazers News
Bryce McGowens : Out for season with rib fracture
Toumani Camara : Snares questionable tag
Camara is questionable for Thursday's game against the Kings due to left foot soreness. Camara pops up on the injury report with discomfort in his left foot. If he winds up missing Thursday's game, look for Shaedon Sharpe and Dalano Banton to pick up more minutes.
Jerami Grant : Doubtful against Sacramento
Grant (knee) has been listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Kings. Grant is trending toward missing a ninth straight game for the Trail Blazers while continuing to nurse a right knee issue. Shaedon Sharpe will likely continue to see an increased role if Grant is ruled out for another game.
Scoot Henderson : Strong showing in loss
Henderson posted 18 points (6-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 122-111 loss to the Cavaliers. Henderson has had a pretty tough month overall, but Tuesday's game was a step in the right direction. Over his last 13 games, Henderson has shot 37.6 percent from the field to go with averages of 13.3 points, 4.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 three-pointers in 37.6 minutes per game.
Matisse Thybulle : Scores 15 points in limited run
Thybulle notched 15 points (5-6 FG, 5-6 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 15 minutes during Tuesday's 122-111 loss to Cleveland. Despite seeing just 15 minutes, Thybulle caught fire from beyond the arc and made the most of his limited run, matching his career-high mark (5) in the process. In six appearances with Portland, Thybulle has looked solid with 7.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.5 blocks, 2.0 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 15.1 minutes.
Donovan Clingan : Double-doubles in loss
Clingan amassed 18 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 122-111 loss to Cleveland. Clingan has been very inconsistent on the offensive end, but he's been an elite source of rebounds and blocks in recent games. Over his last five outings, Clingan has produced 10th-round value in nine-category formats in 26.5 minutes, averaging 9.0 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.8 blocks.
Deni Avdija : Plays well in loss
Avdija closed Tuesday's 122-111 loss to Cleveland with 17 points (6-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-6 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 38 minutes. Avdija now has 14 double-doubles to his name this season. This was also his 12th game with at least six dimes. He's had a very strong month, posting averages of 23.0 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 0.5 blocks, 0.7 steals and 2.8 three-pointers over his last 10 games.
Dalano Banton : Will suit up Tuesday
Banton (illness) is available for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports. Banton will shake off a questionable tag due to the illness and suit up Tuesday. The 25-year-old guard has made five straight appearances for Portland, averaging 4.8 points, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals across 12.8 minutes per contest.
