Stephen Curry : Named All-Star Game MVP
Curry claimed All-Star Game MVP honors after recording 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-8 3Pt), four rebounds, two steals and an assist in 11 minutes during Sunday's 41-25 win against Chuck's Global Stars. After shooting just 2-for-8 from three-point range in the All-Star Game Tournament semifinal, Curry caught fire, knocking down four threes, including a heave from near half court. The 11-time All Star recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes of action across both games. This marks Curry's second career All-Star Game MVP award, the other coming back in 2022. The Warriors will return to action Friday against the Kings.
Stephen Curry : Starting for Team Shaq
Curry will start for Shaq's OGs against Candace's Rising Stars in the second game of the NBA All-Star Game Tournament, per the NBA broadcast. It's Curry's 11th appearance at the All-Star Game, and he will once again serve as a starter. Since the beginning of January, Curry has averaged 25.3 points, 5.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds over 33.5 minutes per game.
Buddy Hield : Runner-up in 3-Point Contest
Hield finished second behind Tyler Herro in the Starry 3-Point Contest after scoring 23 points in the final round. Hield set the tone in the first round with 31 points, which tied Warriors teammate Stephen Curry's record from the 2021 competition. However, Hield missed his first seven shot attempts in the final round and couldn't overcome his slow start, ultimately losing by a single point and falling short of capturing his second 3-Point Contest victory. Hield is shooting 36.3 percent from three on 7.0 3PA/G this season, though that number has dropped to 31.8 percent since the beginning of January.
Trayce Jackson-Davis : Doesn’t score in Rising Stars final
Jackson-Davis saw 3:46 of court time but did not record any stats during Team C's 25-14 win over Team G League in the final of the Rising Stars event Friday. Jackson-Davis did manage to tie teammate Ryan Dunn for a game-best plus-15 point-differential in the final. Jackson-Davis had more of an impact in the semifinals against Team T, finishing with six points (3-4 FG) across 8:05 of playing time. With their win over Team G League, Team C will move on to the All-Star Game tournament Sunday and face Team Shaq in the first round.
Gui Santos : Tallies two swipes in victory
Santos supplied five points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 17 minutes during Thursday's 105-98 win over the Rockets. Santos recorded multiple steals for just the third time this season in Thursday's victory. Despite shooting 40.7 percent from behind the arc in 2024-25, Santos is only converting 26.7 percent of his 1.5 three-point attempts per contest over his last 10 outings.
Pat Spencer : Sees increased run in win
Spencer contributed six points (2-7 FG, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal in 13 minutes during Thursday's 105-98 victory over the Rockets. After logging just five total minutes in Golden State's previous three outings, Spencer was a key bench contributor in Thursday's win. Spencer is averaging 4.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 9.1 minutes across his last 10 appearances.
Kevon Looney : Leads team in rebounding
Looney contributed five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal across 16 minutes during Thursday's 105-98 win over the Rockets. Despite coming off the bench, Looney recorded a team-high nine rebounds during Thursday's victory. The 29-year-old big man has settled into a backup center role and is averaging 5.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 17.4 minutes across his last 10 outings.
Moses Moody : Makes impact on defense
Moody ended Thursday's 105-98 win over the Rockets with 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 34 minutes. The fourth-year forward has started two of the last three games, alternating starts with Quinten Post as coach Steve Kerr plays matchups around Golden State's new dynamic duo of Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler. Moody has been productive in a secondary role in those contests, averaging 12.3 points, 4.7 boards, 1.7 steals, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 threes in 31.3 minutes a contest, but it's not clear what his workload might look like once Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) is ready to get back on the court.
