The Giants recalled Beck from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday. The right-hander was optioned to Sacramento on Wednesday but will make a quick return to the majors since Keaton Winn (elbow) was placed on the 15-day IL. Beck has struggled across six appearances in the majors this season, surrendering eight earned runs with a 3:2 K:BB over eight innings.

Latest Giants News
Tristan Beck : Back in majors
The Giants recalled Beck from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday. The right-hander was optioned to Sacramento on Wednesday but will make a quick return to the majors since Keaton Winn (elbow) was placed on the 15-day IL. Beck has struggled across six appearances in the majors this season, surrendering eight earned runs with a 3:2 K:BB over eight innings.
Keaton Winn : Shelved with elbow strain
The Giants placed Winn on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right elbow strain. It's uncertain when exactly the right-hander sustained the injury, but he last pitched Monday against Washington and surrendered three runs across two-thirds of an inning. According to Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area, manager Tony Vitello said an MRI on Winn's elbow didn't reveal anything overly concerning, leaving the Giants optimistic that the 28-year-old will be in line for a short-term absence. Winn will be eligible for reinstatement June 26.
Heliot Ramos : Progressing in recovery
Ramos (quadriceps) has been ramping up his hitting and running progressions and could begin his rehab assignment as soon as next week, Maria Guardado of MLB.com reports. Ramos hasn't played since May 15 after being placed on the 10-day injured list May 16 due to a right quadriceps strain. The 26-year-old outfielder appears to be nearing a return to game action in the minors, though there's still no clear timetable for his return to the parent club. With Harrison Bader (foot) also on the IL, Drew Gilbert and Jonah Cox will likely continue seeing increased reps.
Matthew Gage : Begins rehab assignment
Gage (knee) allowed one hit while striking out two across 1.2 scoreless innings in Single-A San Jose's 2-1 win over Stockton on Saturday. Gage was placed on the 15-day injured list June 3 due to knee inflammation and got the starting nod in the first game of his rehab assignment. He was pulled after throwing 23 pitches, 16 of which were strikes. Prior to going on the IL, the left-hander posted a 2.63 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 19:13 K:BB across 24 innings.
Trevor McDonald : Takes loss Saturday
McDonald (2-4) allowed four runs on six hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out four over 3.2 innings to take the loss versus the Cubs on Saturday. McDonald didn't get much support from his teammates, but he struggled through this outing as well. It took him 92 pitches (53 strikes) to collect his 11 outings, matching his shortest start of the season. McDonald is now at a 4.64 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 41:15 K:BB over 42.2 innings through eight starts. It's not clear when Tyler Mahle (hamstring) will return -- if he can't go next week, McDonald is projected for a road start versus the Marlins.
Daniel Susac : Resting up Saturday
Susac isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Susac will get a breather Saturday after going 0-for-3 with a strikeout during Friday's loss. Eric Haase will take over as the Giants' backstop and bat ninth.
Ryan Walker : Scoreless outing Friday
Walker struck out one in a scoreless inning during Friday's 5-1 loss to the Cubs. Walker was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Friday and immediately made an appearance for San Francisco. The right-hander posted a 6.46 ERA and 1.89 WHIP in 15.1 innings before being optioned to Sacramento on May 10, though he was productive in his return to the big leagues. Walker threw 12 of his 16 pitches for strikes and will attempt to build on the performance in hopes of earning more high-leverage opportunities moving forward.
Bryson Eldridge : Keeps power surge going
Eldridge went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Cubs. Eldridge had all but one of the Giants' hits in the contest. His ninth-inning homer kept them from getting shut out, but that was about the only positive for the home team to take from this game. That's now three straight games with a homer and four straight with an extra-base hit for Eldridge. He is batting .425 (17-for-40) in June, and that's after he ended May with a four-hit game. Overall, he's hitting .316 with a .959 OPS, five homers, 13 RBI, 18 runs scored and nine doubles across 29 contests, with his recent surge making it tough to see him coming out of the lineup for anything other than rest any time soon.
