Romo also signed a reserve/future contract with New England in January, so he should have a chance to compete for at least the starting kicking job in training camp.

The Patriots matched Elliss' offer sheet from the Raiders on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Elliss was extended an offer sheet by Las Vegas on March 19, but the Patriots are retaining the 26-year-old linebacker. His new contract is a two-year deal, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. Elliss logged a career-year in 2024, with80 tackles (42 solo) including 1.5 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 16 regular-season appearances (five starts).
Guhle (quadriceps) practiced Monday and will travel with the Canadiens on the team's upcoming four-game road trip, which begins Tuesday in St. Louis. Guhle has been out for the last 19 games after having surgery in late January to repair a lacerated quadriceps muscle. It remains unclear when he will be ready to return, but accompanying the team on the road will allow him to continue practicing. He has earned four goals, 14 points, 58 shots on net, 100 blocked shots and 67 hits in 44 appearances this season.
Lewis logged an assist and three hits in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Bruins. Trevor Moore (upper body) couldn't play Sunday, and Lewis got the nod to enter the lineup over Akil Thomas. Prior to Sunday, Lewis had been scratched for eight straight contests, losing his spot in the lineup after the Kings traded for Andrei Kuzmenko. The 38-year-old Lewis has nine points, 43 shots on net, 81 hits, 28 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 49 appearances. He'll likely return to the press box once the Kings' roster is back to full health.
Pettersson (undisclosed) sat out the third period in Vancouver's 5-3 loss to the Rangers on Saturday. Pettersson appeared to suffer an injury on a faceoff during the second period. He returned to the game briefly before being ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Pettersson entered Saturday's action with 15 goals and 45 points in 63 games this season.
Farabee (illness) won't be in the lineup versus the Islanders on Saturday. Farabee will be absent for at least one game. He has notched 11 goals and 24 points in 68 games between Calgary and Philadelphia this campaign. Due to Farabee's absence, Dryden Hunt will draw back into the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the last two games.
Kochetkov will guard the road goal against the Kings on Saturday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports. Kochetkov has stopped 109 of 115 shots during his five-game winning streak. He has a 25-11-3 record with two shutouts, a 2.37 GAA and a .907 save percentage through 40 appearances this season. The Kings sit 22nd in the league with 2.81 goals per game in 2024-25.
Boqvist (upper body) isn't ready to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's game against Calgary, per Stefen Rosner of NHL.com. It will be Boqvist's fifth straight game on the shelf. He has four goals and 11 points in 30 appearances between Florida and the Islanders in 2024-25. When healthy, Boqvist might serve on the third pairing.
