Ingram underwent successful surgery Friday to address ongoing heel pain, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. A heel spur was removed during the surgery, and Ingram is expected to fully recover and be ready for training camp in September. This heel injury prevented Ingram from playing in the final two games of Toronto's playoff series against the Cavaliers, but by addressing it early in the offseason, his status for 2026-27 won't be in any doubt.

Brandon Ingram : Undergoes heel surgery
Ingram underwent successful surgery Friday to address ongoing heel pain, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. A heel spur was removed during the surgery, and Ingram is expected to fully recover and be ready for training camp in September. This heel injury prevented Ingram from playing in the final two games of Toronto's playoff series against the Cavaliers, but by addressing it early in the offseason, his status for 2026-27 won't be in any doubt.
Trayce Jackson-Davis : Fails to make impact with Toronto
Jackson-Davis did not see the floor during Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Jackson-Davis' third NBA season was mostly a letdown throughout 2025-26. The big man got lost in the shuffle with Golden State before being traded to Toronto, where he averaged only 1.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 5.0 minutes per tilt over 17 regular-season contests. With Sandro Mamukelashvili a potential departure this offseason, the Raptors could exercise Jackson-Davis' team option for 2026-27 to fortify their center depth.
Gradey Dick : Ends disappointing third season
Dick did not see the floor during Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. With Brandon Ingram (heel) joining the Raptors, Dick took a huge step back in 2025-26. Across 76 regular-season appearances, the third-year sharpshooter averaged a career-low 6.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 14.0 minutes per game. Dick is set to return to Toronto in 2026-27, but it's concerning that he wasn't able to move into a more prominent role despite Ingram's absence in Game 7.
Sandro Mamukelashvili : Diminished role in Game 7
Mamukelashvili closed Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with six points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT) in nine minutes. While his minutes began to dip during the playoffs, Mamukelashvili was a pretty big part of Toronto's rotation earlier this year. Over 80 regular-season appearances (13 starts), the fifth-year big man averaged 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 21.9 minutes per game. Mamukelashvili has a player option for 2026-27, and it remains to be seen if he'll settle for that or opt to explore free agency.
Jamison Battle : Limited role in 2025-26
Battle racked up three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across 14 minutes during Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The second-year forward served mostly as frontcourt depth in 2025-26, so his fantasy impact was relatively limited. Battle averaged 4.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.5 steals in 8.5 minutes per contest over 24 games during the regular season, shooting 51.0 percent from the field. If Sandro Mamukelashvili leaves this offseason, Battle could take on a larger role in 2026-27.
A.J. Lawson : Decent run in Game 7 loss
Lawson accumulated two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one block in 16 minutes during Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. After opening the campaign under a two-way deal, Lawson signed a standard contract with the Raptors in April. The Canadian-born guard averaged just 4.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.5 steals in 9.4 minutes per contest through 24 regular-season games for Toronto, so it remains to be seen if he'll earn another standard pact or perhaps settle for another two-way opportunity this offseason.
Collin Murray-Boyles : Fills box score in Game 7
Murray-Boyles logged eight points (3-5 FG, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 24 minutes during Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Murray-Boyles was a key contributor for Toronto during this seven-game series, chipping in double-digit points in five contests. The rookie first-rounder carved out a significant role right away for the Raptors, averaging 8.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks in 21.9 minutes per tilt through 57 regular-season games. Provided Sandro Mamukelashvili picks up his player option for 2026-27, Murray-Boyles could be in for a similar role next year unless Toronto finds a way to get off of Jakob Poeltl's gaudy contract.
RJ Barrett : Strong finish to campaign
Barrett amassed 23 points (9-25 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, six assists and three steals in 43 minutes during Sunday's 114-102 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Barrett played a huge role during Toronto's seven-game playoff run, scoring at least 18 points in each contest. The star forward put together another productive campaign in 2025-26, averaging 19.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers in 30.3 minutes per contest over 57 regular-season games. With most of the Raptors' core players under contract for 2026-27, Barrett is likely to handle a similar role next year.
