Rhoden underwent surgery this week to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder and will face a 4-to-6-month recovery, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. The third-year forward will be under contract with Toronto entering the 2025-26 season after signing a two-year, two-way deal in March. Still, his recovery from shoulder surgery will keep him out of commission for the Raptors' summer development program and potentially jeopardize his availability for the start of training camp in the fall. Between stops with the Hornets and Raptors during the 2024-25 season, Rhoden appeared in 14 games and averaged 8.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.9 three-pointers in 16.2 minutes per contest.

Jared Rhoden : Gets shoulder surgery
Ulrich Chomche : Expected to play in Summer League
Head coach Darko Rajakovic anticipates watching Chomche (knee) play in the Las Vegas Summer League in July, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports. Chomche missed the second half of the season due to an MCL tear in his right knee, but he's expected to fully recover well in advance of the 2025-26 campaign. The rookie second-rounder made just seven appearances with Toronto during his first year in the NBA. Still, he averaged 8.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 24.0 minutes while shooting 54.9 percent from the field over 19 outings (one start) with the G League's Raptors 905. With Chris Boucher set for unrestricted free agency, Chomche could be auditioning for the backup center role behind Jakob Poeltl this offseason.
A.J. Lawson : Paces second unit in loss
Lawson registered 14 points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT) over 21 minutes during Sunday's 125-118 loss to San Antonio. Lawson led the second unit in scoring during the regular-season finale, though he was inefficient from beyond the arc Sunday. The 24-year-old signed a two-way deal with the Raptors in December, and he was upgraded to a standard two-year pact in April. He finished the 2024-25 campaign with averages of 9.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.5 steals across 18.7 minutes per game in 26 regular-season appearances.
Colin Castleton : Meaningful minutes to close season
Castleton chipped in 10 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 FT) and two rebounds over 29 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 125-118 loss to the Spurs. Castleton started four of his final 12 games of the regular season, averaging 7.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 22.5 minutes to wrap up the campaign. He signed a standard contract this past weekend after two 10-day deals had expired, and Castleton could be in line for an uptick in playing time as a frontcourt reserve member next season, considering Chris Boucher is headed for unrestricted free agency.
Ochai Agbaji : Full stat line in season finale
Agbaji closed Sunday's 125-118 loss to San Antonio with 14 points (6-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and four steals in 38 minutes. The 2022 first-rounder was a stable member of the Toronto rotation all throughout 2024-25, starting 45 games this season. Over 14 games as a starter since the calendar flipped to 2025, Agbaji averaged 12.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.9 three-pointers in 30.6 minutes. With Brandon Ingram (ankle) expected to be ready for the start of 2025-26, however, Agbaji figures to open next year as a reserve while also sitting behind Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett on the depth chart at forward.
Jamal Shead : Game-high nine dimes in finale
Shead ended Sunday's 125-118 loss to the Spurs with 11 points (4-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and nine assists in 36 minutes. The rookie second-rounder handed out a game-high nine dimes in Sunday's regular-season finale, continuing to show promise as a playmaker in a starting capacity. Shead averaged 10.4 points, 6.9 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 27.3 minutes over 11 games as a starter this season. However, he shot just 37.5 percent from the field during this span, so the Raptors hope Shead will experience some improvement in his shooting efficiency during his second season in 2025-26.
Jamison Battle : Scores season-high 25 points
Battle accumulated 25 points (9-19 FG, 7-15 3Pt), nine rebounds and three assists over 42 minutes during Sunday's 125-118 loss to the Spurs. Battle saved his best performance for last, finishing Sunday's contest with a season-high 25 points, which was second-most behind Scottie Barnes (35). Battle started in 10 of the Raptors' final 17 games of the regular season, and over that span he averaged 10.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 29.1 minutes per contest.
Jonathan Mogbo : One point shy of triple-double
Mogbo totaled nine points (4-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in 35 minutes during Sunday's 125-118 loss to the Spurs. Mogbo finished as the leader in rebounds and assists, and he was one point shy from registering the second triple-double of his NBA career. The rookie second-round pick had a steady role in the rotation for much of the season and ended up starting in 18 games (including the final five contests of the regular season). Since the beginning of March, Mogbo averaged 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals over 27.2 minutes per game.
