General manager Kelly McCrimmon had no update on Lauzon's (undisclosed) status ahead of Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Avalanche, Hannah Kirkell of The Hockey News reports. Lauzon missed the entire second round, and he can continue to be considered out indefinitely for now. Vegas has turned to Ben Hutton and Dylan Coghlan to fill out the third pairing in Lauzon's absence.
General manager Kelly McCrimmon didn't have an update on Stone's (lower body) status ahead of Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Avalanche, Hannah Kirkell of The Hockey News reports. While this doesn't officially rule Stone out for any length of time, don't expect him to be ready for the start of the series. The Golden Knights are unlikely to be forthcoming with further injury updates during the playoffs. Stone's status for the series a whole is uncertain.
Makar (undisclosed) is slated to play against Vegas on Wednesday in Game 1, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports. Makar hasn't practiced much during the playoffs and likely isn't fully healthy, but he should be available for the start of the Western Conference Finals. He hasn't missed a game yet this postseason, compiling four goals, one assist, 22 shots on net and 18 blocked shots across nine appearances.
Kulich (ear) said Tuesday that he had his blood clot removed and will be able to play hockey again, per Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald. Kulich appeared in just 12 regular-season games in 2025-26, accounting for three goals, five points, 20 shots and a minus-4 rating. While an exact timeline for his recovery is not known, he should be ready for the start of next season. Kulich told reporters Tuesday during the Sabres' postseason media availability that he feels good now, has been doing a lot of skating and shooting and is looking forward to next season. The 22-year-old will be a restricted free agent after the 2026-27 campaign.
Burns (undisclosed) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports. Burns sat out some on-ice sessions after Colorado's series-clinching 4-3 overtime win over Minnesota last Wednesday. However, he should be ready for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against Vegas this Wednesday. Burns has contributed three assists, 14 shots on goal, six blocked shots and 13 hits in nine appearances this postseason.
Greenway scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens in Game 7. Greenway's body deflected a Mattias Samuelsson shot to get the Sabres on the board at 13:19 of the second period. In 13 playoff outings, Greenway had three points, seven shots on net, 30 hits and six PIM. While the production wasn't much, the fact that he was healthy enough to play the whole time was a big positive. He's under contract with the Sabres for 2026-27, so he should be in the mix for a bottom-six role again, but he's also missed at least 15 games in each of the last five years.
Dahlin scored a goal on five shots and blocked two shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens in Game 7. Dahlin's third-period tally forced overtime, but he didn't have one more heroic moment in him. The defenseman ended the postseason on a five-game point streak, in which he earned three goals and seven assists. Overall, he produced four goals, 10 helpers, 46 shots on net, 15 hits, 15 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 13 appearances in his first taste of postseason action. Dahlin is poised to be a pillar of the Sabres' defense for years to come and makes for a good pick to lead a fantasy blue line in drafts this fall.
Bolduc scored a power-play goal on two shots and added three hits in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Sabres in Game 7. Bolduc was a little quieter in the second round, earning three points over seven contests against the Sabres. He's at seven points, 14 shots, 38 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 14 outings this postseason. The 23-year-old has made himself a regular in the bottom six as well as a power-play option on the second unit. He has some appeal as a depth forward in DFS if the Canadiens can solve the Hurricanes' defense in the Eastern Conference Finals.
