Hornets Injury Report
Latest Hornets News
Brandon Miller : Undergoes shoulder surgery
The Hornets announced Wednesday that Miller underwent successful surgery to address left shoulder instability, per Owen O'Connor of SI.com. Miller missed nearly a month of action early in the 2025-26 season due to a left shoulder subluxation. Although the third-year forward is considered out indefinitely, he's expected to make a full recovery and has several months to recover ahead of training camp. Over 65 regular-season contests, Miller averaged 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.1 three-pointers in 30.3 minutes per game.
Coby White : Good chance to stay in Charlotte?
Retaining White will be a priority for the Hornets this offseason, Bobby Marks of ESPN reports. White will be free to test the open market in the offseason, although Charlotte will look re-sign him. After trading for White ahead of the deadline, Charlotte inherited his Bird rights, enabling the team to exceed the salary cap to retain him. Considering the club will be operating well below the luxury tax while possessing three trade exceptions, valued at a combined $17.5 million, Marks added that the franchise is in a "strong position" to keep the former Bull on the roster. White appeared in 21 regular-season contests for the Hornets after being acquired from Chicago, all from off the bench, averaging 15.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.1 blocks while shooting 39.1 percent from deep in those appearances. It's unknown what his role would be if he remained with the organization. However, his biggest issue in the last few seasons has been his inability to stay healthy.
Antonio Reeves : Sees limited NBA action in 2025-26
Reeves averaged 2.7 points and 0.8 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per contest across 10 regular-season appearances in 2025-26. After appearing in 44 regular-season games (six starts) for the Pelicans in 2024-25, Reeves joined the Hornets on a two-way pact for 2025-26. He played a significant role for the G League's Greensboro Swarm, who won their first G League title this season. Over 35 G League games, he averaged 17.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.6 steals in 32.1 minutes per tilt.
Liam McNeeley : Appears in season-ending loss
McNeeley contributed two points (1-1 FG) and one steal across six minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic. McNeeley saw the floor in Friday's blowout loss, marking just his second appearance of April, including the regular season. The rookie first-rounder played a muted role for the Hornets, averaging 4.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 11.9 minutes per contest across 31 regular-season outings off the bench. He appeared in 20 G League games for the Greensboro Swarm, with whom he averaged 19.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists across 31.9 minutes per contest. The 20-year-old will look to earn a more sizable role in 2026-27, though the only notable rotation player the Hornets could lose in free agency is Coby White.
Pat Connaughton : Grabs three boards Friday
Connaughton produced two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist in six minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to Orlando. Connaughton saw the floor in Friday's season-ending loss after collecting two straight DNP-CDs. The veteran forward played a limited role for the Hornets in 2025-26, averaging 2.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.3 steals in 7.1 minutes per game across 42 regular-season appearances off the bench. His production has been trending downward for the past few years, and his future in Charlotte is uncertain, with the club holding a $3.82 million team option for 2026-27.
Tre Mann : Quiet game in season-ending loss
Mann supplied two points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one assist in seven minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic. Mann didn't see the floor in Tuesday's Play-In Game win over the Heat but logged seven minutes during Friday's blowout loss. The 25-year-old guard posted several career lows while playing a limited role in 2025-26, averaging 5.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.5 steals in 12.6 minutes per game across 53 regular-season appearances (one start). He's under contract for the 2026-27 season, and the Hornets hold a team option for 2027-28.
Tidjane Salaun : Logs nine minutes in loss
Salaun registered four points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists across nine minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic. With the Hornets trailing early, Salaun saw action in Friday's season-ending loss after not seeing the floor in Tuesday's Play-In Game win over the Heat. After appearing in 60 regular-season games (10 starts) during his rookie season, the second-year forward split time between the NBA and G League in 2025-26. Over 37 regular-season appearances off the bench this season, the 20-year-old averaged 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.4 steals in 15.5 minutes per game. He was much more efficient in his second season, shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 43.4 percent from downtown on 2.2 three-point attempts per tilt.
Josh Green : Scoreless in season-ending loss
Green produced zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and two rebounds across 10 minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic. Green logged 11 or fewer minutes for a sixth straight game and didn't make much of an impact in his limited run during Charlotte's season-ending loss. The 25-year-old swingman missed the Hornets' first 24 regular-season games after undergoing left shoulder surgery in June and saw his role decline in 2025-26, averaging 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals in 15.7 minutes per game across 58 regular-season appearances off the bench. He's under contract for one more season.
