Wilson was absent from Eagles' practice Thursday as he remains in the league's concussion protocols, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Wilson has been in protocols since Aug. 13 after sustaining a concussion during the Eagles' joint practice with the Patriots. That kept him out of the two remaining preseason games and will keep him out of practice until he is able to pass the necessary benchmarks set by the league. It's unclear whether Wilson will be cleared ahead of the Eagles' regular-season opener against the Packers on Sept. 6. The rookie sixth-round pick is currently slated as Philadelphia's fourth wide receiver on the depth chart behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and new acquisition Jahan Dotson.
Hunt did not participate in Thursday's practice due to an oblique injury, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Hunt played in the first two preseason games, during which she accrued seven tackles (five solo). The rookie third-round pick is slated to provide linebacker depth behind starters Josh Sweat and Bryce Huff. It's not yet known if the severity of the injury has Hunt in jeopardy of missing the Eagles' regular-season opener against the Packers on Sept. 6.
Bradberry (lower leg) was placed on the Eagles' injured reserve Thursday. Bradberry sustained the injury during Wednesday's practice, and the initial timeline for his return is 6-to-8 weeks. The 2016 second-round pick will be forced to sit for the first four games of the regular season, and with the Eagles on a bye for Week 5, the earliest he could return would be for Week 6 against the Browns on Oct. 13. When he returns, Bradberry is expected to be utilized in multiple positions across the Eagles' secondary, primarily serving at safety.
Goedert (oblique) is not practicing Thursday, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports. Goedert has missed just over a week of practices with an oblique injury, leaving him just eight days to get healthy ahead of Philadelphia's regular-season opener against the Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sept. 6. The Eagles are likely taking a cautious approach to the starting tight end's health, given his integral role on offense, but his status will be worth closely monitoring when the team's first official practice reports of the regular season are released next week. Grant Calcaterra is the only other health tight end on the team's 53-man roster Thursday, but more additions are likely on the way.
Bradberry (lower leg) suffered an injury involving a tendon during Wednesday's practice and is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Bradberry's injury reportedly won't require surgery, but it will almost certainly lead to a stint on IR. That would rule out Bradberry, who converted to safety this offseason, out for Philadelphia's first four games of the year, which aligns with the recovery timetable offered by Rapoport. The Eagles have a Week 5 bye, and Bradberry's earliest recovery timeline could leave him available to face the Browns on Oct. 13 in Week 6.
Ngata (ankle) reverted to injured reserve Wednesday, according to the NFL's transaction log. The wide receiver will have to reach an injury settlement with the Eagles to play in 2024. Ngata caught five passes for 88 yards during the preseason. He played his last college season in 2022 and has not yet seen NFL regular-season action.
