More help is probably on the way, but so far Baltimore has only signed blocking specialist Durham Smythe to help replace Likely (Giants) and Kolar (Chargers) at tight end. The Ravens also lost long-time fullback Patrick Ricard, who followed Likely and coach John Harbaugh to New York. Latest Ravens News
Mark Andrews : Primed for larger role in 2026?
Andrews said Wednesday that he expects "a lot of opportunities in this offense" after fellow tight ends Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar left the Ravens this offseason, NFL.com reports. Andrews, meanwhile, is entering the first season of the three-year extension he signed in December, with his 2026 compensation fully guaranteed and his 2027 salary partially guaranteed ($5 million out of $9 million). The Ravens clearly have him ticketed for a key role under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, but that doesn't mean Andrews will approach his peak volume (or production). He'll turn 31 in September, coming off back-to-back seasons with less than 4.5 targets and 40 yards per game. Even the TD production slipped in 2025, with Andrews posting a 48-422-5 receiving line (compared to 55-673-11 in 2024) while finishing with career-low marks for yards per catch (8.8) and yards per target (6.0).
Danny Pinter : Headed to Baltimore
Pinter and the Ravens agreed to terms on a contract Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. The 2020 fifth-round pick spent his first five seasons with the Colts, but he's found a new home in Baltimore. He's made just 10 starts in his 77 regular-season appearances, but given that Tyler Linderbaum is now a Raider, Pinter could get a chance to compete for the starting center job with the Ravens.
CJ Okoye : Back with Baltimore
The Ravens signed Okoye to a one-year, $1 million contract Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Okoye came through the International Player Pathway Program and played 13 regular-season games for Baltimore last season, logging 214 defensive snaps and compiling 15 tackles along with a defensed pass. He'll likely continue to serve in a rotational role along the defensive line in 2026.
Durham Smythe : Blocking in Baltimore
The Ravens and Smythe have agreed to terms, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Smythe had a substantial role for the 2025 Bears as a blocking tight end for both the offense and special-teams unit. The tight end will now bring that skill set to Baltimore, likely as a replacement for Charlie Kolar, whom the Ravens lost to the Chargers in free agency. The 30-year-old caught just four passes in 17 regular-season games during the 2025 season, a number that may increase now that he is paired up with Lamar Jackson in a new Ravens offense.
Jaylinn Hawkins : Plans to sign with Baltimore
The Ravens plan to sign Hawkins to a two-year deal, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Hawkins is set to receive a two-year deal totalling $10 million. The defensive back started all 15 regular-season games he participated in during the 2025 campaign, logging 71 tackles (45 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and added six passes defensed for four interceptions as well. The Ravens will acquire a safety coming off a career year to pair up with All-Pro Kyle Hamilton.
Chidobe Awuzie : Returns to Baltimore
The Ravens have agreed to a one-year deal with Awuzie, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports Awuzie is set to earn $5 million guaranteed for another one-year stint with the Ravens. The 30-year-old played 14 games in the 2025 regular season, starting in four. The team was clearly impressed with his production at outside cornerback, as his 2026 contract comes in $3.75 million higher than his 2025 deal.
Lamar Jackson : Agrees to contract restructure
Jackson and the Ravens are in agreement on a restructured contract to add $40 million of cap space for 2026, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Some of that cap space will go to DE Trey Hendrickson, who agreed to a four-year contract with the Ravens shortly after they backed out of a trade for Raiders DE Maxx Crosby (knee). The series of events hasn't made Baltimore popular around the league, but it could work out well for Jackson if the Ravens now keep the 14th overall pick and use it on a blocker or pass catcher. Either way, a contract restructure gives the team more flexibility in the absence of an extension (which may still come later this offseason).
Trey Hendrickson : Set to sign with Ravens
Hendrickson (hip/pelvis) is slated to sign a four-year, $112 million contract with the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. After a trade agreement that would have sent star defensive end Maxx Crosby (from the Raiders) to the Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks fell apart, it didn't take long for the team to pivot to adding another impact pass rusher. Hendrickson is recovering from December core-muscle surgery, but he'll presumably be past the issue once Baltimore's offseason program begins. In seven games with the Bengals in 2025, the 31-year-old recorded 16 tackles and four sacks, but in both of the two seasons prior to that Hendrickson racked up 17.5 sacks.
