The veteran cornerback logged just 56 defensive snaps compared to his 150 in 2023, which explains the significant drop in his tackle total from 28 to 13 in 2024. He's now set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason after signing a one-year, $1.1 million deal with the Browns last offseason. If Ford stays in Cleveland for 2025, he's expected to remain a depth piece in the team's secondary while also contributing on special teams.
Kamara accumulated 15 total tackles over 11 games in 2024. The fourth-year pro from Stony Brook had the most productive season of his career in 2024, setting new career highs in total tackles, games played and defensive snaps logged (262). His lone start came in Cleveland's Week 18 loss to the Ravens, where he recorded six total tackles while playing 87 percent of the team's defensive snaps. Kamara, who's under contract through the 2025 season, is expected to remain one of the Browns' top reserve defensive linemen next year.

The 29-year-old defensive tackle finished Cleveland's season on injured reserve, missing nine games due to an ankle injury. This appears to be a recurring theme for Hurst, who has now been sidelined for 45 regular-season games over the past four seasons in the NFL. Hurst played over 40 percent of the Browns' defensive snaps in three games this year, recording seven total tackles in those contests. He's now set to be an unrestricted free agent after signing a one-year, $1.8 million deal with Cleveland last offseason. Given his continued injury struggles, Hurst is likely to sign another one-year prove-it contract this offseason after missing more than half his team's games in 2024.
Okoronkwo tallied 23 total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, and one forced fumble over 16 games in 2024. The veteran defensive tackle saw his production decline significantly this season compared to 2023, recording fewer tackles (31 to 23), fewer sacks (4.5 to 3.0) and fewer passes defended (one to zero) in 2024, despite playing in two more games. Okoronkwo made five starts this season, recording just eight total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble in those contests. He's now entering the final season of a three-year, $19 million deal signed with Cleveland in 2022. Expect Okoronkwo to remain one of the Browns' top rotational defensive linemen heading into the 2025 season.

McGuire ramped up his involvement on defense Year 2, managing to close out the year as a clear starter. The 2023 fourth-round pick suited up for just four games as a rookie, but he's now demonstrated a legitimate ability to contribute on defense. He'll spend the offseason looking to further his development in Cleveland's scheme.
