Joshua Walker : Pushed off 40-man roster

The Mets designated Walker for assignment Friday. Walker will end up as the Mets' 40-man roster casualty following the acquisition of Ryne Stanek from the Mariners on Friday. Walker has accumulated a 6.45 ERA across 22.1 innings during his MLB career, though his 2.83 ERA through 28.2 frames with Triple-A Syracuse may garner some attention from other teams in need of bullpen depth.
