Belfort, Griffin each earn $275,000
Vitor Belfort may have lost to Anderson Silva in the main event for UFC 126, but a $275,000 check tied with co-main event winner Forrest Griffin for top payday.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the figures earlier today to MMAjunkie.com.
Coming in third on the list, Silva, who retained his middleweight title in terrific fashion, pulled in an even $200,000 (though he did win $75,000 for Knockout of the Night bonus), while Jon Jones‘ $140,000 check comes in at the fourth spot.
